Yeah hdew have sent me a 5d3 and now 2 600ex-rt triggers all came with English manuals and the normal charger for the camera. I've heard of instances where panamoz send an adapter for the battery chargers and printed out manuals.

Dexy - Panamoz buyer. 5D3 and an iPad 32Gb. Absolutely no ptoblem and HIGHLY recommended. English manuals and chargers. Over £100 off for BT made a big difference to the price too.

How long does an invoice take to receive when you pay via BT?

Decided to take the plunge due to this thread ;)

Ordered a 2.8 70-200mm is ii usm on Sunday night, made the BT on Monday, received it on Thursday.

Excellent communications and speedy delivery, well packaged, couldn't be happier.

I will certainly use Panamoz again in the future. :)

Another happy customer :D

I'm definitely going to need to send my Tamron back to Panamoz. The VC has stopped working twice now. I've heard about the good CS but I hate these intermittent faults as they may decided there is nothing wrong with it while they have it. Oh well, at least it's to a UK address.

Curious to know, but how do you test the VCR IS etc on a lens?

Still no email :(

I returned a Tamron 24-70 2.8 VC recently, only because I didn't like it over the Canon 24-70 2.8 MKI. The return was very smooth, sent it to an address in London and got the refund 2-3 days later. They didn't even deduct the postage costs.

Really? Thats great service. Just to be clear you had it for a while and decided you didnt want it? I tried to return mine when it was still within the return period but they said i couldn't return it if i had been used, due to micro scratches on the mount so it couldnt be sold again. Fair enough i guess.
They have said they would offer to replace or refund mine if its faulty, my problem is convincing them that it is as the issue is intermittent.
I want to stick with the Tamron as i got it for the VC, although id be happy with it if it didnt have VC either but at a lower price. I am a bit worried about the robustness of this lens, ive read that others have had the same issues.

The Canon MKII is very tempting though, for "only" £600 more :cuckoo:

What was it you didn't like about it Hassan?

I found it soft and complained. They did try and argue that it was within tolerance but I felt it wasn't as sharp as my Canon. Also I didn't like the onion ring bokeh, which I hadn't learnt about before. The VC was brilliant though. In the end they just gave me a full refund, but I was within my 14 day period.

That's a surprise. I thought they were regarded as just as good as, if not a fraction better in some ways.

At least it was sorted out ok.

The only issue you might have is if Panamoz go bust or just disappear from the face of the planet. Remember, your warranty is with them, not Canon UK.

Then again, Jessops is probably equally likely to go bust......but at least you'll have a Canon UK warranty, so can deal direct with them.

Boom !!

What do you get with a uk body? 1 year warranty? I'd still rather take my chances & save £££'s off the uk price.

A 1 year warranty and the protection of the SoGA for up to 6 years (IIRC).

Rights for 6 years or 5 in Scotland only if the item:

does not match the description.
is not of satisfactory quality.
is not fit for purpose.

I'd like to see anyone trying to claim these when the item is out of warranty....

I got a nearly 2 year old flashgun replaced by Jacobs.

So has anyone actually had a bad experience with these? Looking at their prices it seems a bit too good to be true with some things! But all I seem to be seeing is good stuff, which is reassuring.

Ill let you know later in the week. My Tamron will be posted to them tomorrow, with a covering note explaining it has an intermittent fault. I know this is the worst kind of fault and hard to prove so im expecting a bit of hassle getting it replaced, but fingers crossed it all goes smoothly.

Only the Tax Man.

7D is on its way to me, and Iam £633 lighter!

My 5DIII + 24-105 arrived this morning from Panamoz,

Shipped as agreed - Arrived on Date expected, Box contained UK Power Lead & English Printed Manuals (Sealed Bags) - Along with a screen protector and 1 year warranty card from Panamoz in the box

Packing was good. No damage to the box or contents.

Lens was a UA12 Production so Dec 2012 so recent stock, Not a shelf sitter!

Totally Misdescribed and MisWeighed for Customs.

Weight on Package <1kg Description stereo equipment parts

The UPS guy said the weight on the pre printed label was irrelevant as it was a prepaid account so shipping is charged at actual weight on collection, but the misdescription of <1kg on the shipping label along with the "Stereo Equipment Parts" no doubt ghosts it through any checks UPS do for value for customs.

So Happy to have the item, no hassle and good communications. Although there is obvious slight of hand going on with regards import duty etc.

Printed manuals? Normal Canon supplied ones?

Ive ordered a few lenses from them.. paid direct bank transfer each time and the good arrived within a few days. Plus you cant beat their prices!

Actual manual with mine...

That good news! I've just ordered a 7D

I've ordered 3 items from them over the past 3 months and the items, packaging and contents were no different to what I would expect from a UK seller. The customer service has always been good. Responses not instantaneous but I think they're a small outfit and process 100's of orders weekly, but for the price I am happy to be patient.

Yes Normal Canon Supplied Ones (Not Photocopies or Copies on Disc as some Greys have been known to supply)

Lovely, thanks

You would have had a lot complaining about non-canon manuals!! The box is as you wuld find it from a UK retailer. No different.
