Painting with light?

Can anyone remember the lighting system I think it was by Calumet(?)which involved the use of a light hose & shutter masks etc. I remember being sent a brochure donkeys years ago, probably early nineties.
Just wondering if anyone has used one & if it's worth hunting one down. I've achieved similar effects with a xenon lamp but I'd like to hear if someone has experience of using it.

Hose Master by Aaron Jones?

I haven't tried the real Hose Master, I just tried a similar product produced by local technician in 199x.
Hose master is surely a great product, but one thing you may want to know is this machine was designed for high light output because we all used 4x5 slide at that time. You may not need it if you mainly use DSLR.

I've never owned one but we had one in a studio I worked for, a long time ago.

I remember that it produced the results but it was a bit frustrating because it tended to overheat and shut itself off after a few minutes
