It was a good run, and I'm sure we all have plenty of fond mammaries of people like Melinda Messenger, Sam Fox and Linda Lusardi et al.
Still with the increased space, on page 3, we should all be able to keep abreast with more news items.
Lets just hope that sales don't sag too much :D

Have known a couple of Page Three girls back in the day. One, a Californian natural blonde with hair down to her waist interrupted her Europe trip and lived with me for six months and did some Page Three work to earn some money.

according to this evenings revelations, still on page three if the mass outcry on twitter is to be believed. Apparently it was some huge joke, breasts will be back tomorrow... allegedly
 
Just been doing some twitter searching. The Sun didn't announce they were dropping Pg3, they simply didn't post for a few days and let the internet do the [PR] work for them seems to be the story [I don't buy the rag or follow twitter accounts for the Sun, so just going off what others are saying]. Boobies are back in tomorrows edition. Top trolling by The Sun and double PR points for all the talk about being dropped, followed by all the talk about not being dropped.

Funny innit! Because I bet the majority of people that are so offended by page 3 and want it banned, also stood up a few weeks ago and 'defended' the rights of free speech, an open press and for Charlie Hebdo to print cartoons that some Muslims found just as offensive, if not more so. :rolleyes:

I normally buy The Sun just for something for my elderly mother and myself to read through and in yesterday's edition, Page three (and four) was completely taken up by an ASDA advert. Not really very sexy, isn't it?
 
Me thinks this has been a massive free advertising effort by the Sun.
Drop page three for a few days, along with a few hints to the other media, easily done with Sky being part of the same empire. Let the said Media go into a major spin of speculation, and have your logo splashed all over the TV for a few days, then put page 3 back and 'innocently' ask what all the fuss has been for.
All for free. You have got to admire them for that!
Now, what does todays young lady think about the prospect of European Bank printing money?

Just heard a cute girlie voice on the radio saying that her "anti page 3" group has profited from this too. I think she should feature in a page 3 fight sequence to see who the real winner is.

Wouldn't know, however there was one a few years back who wrote about the socio-political compact as described by Locke, in the context of perceived abuses of the system by government (might have been during the expenses row). Also, she had nice boobs.
