After a disastrous gig last week with my Canon S110, im now looking for a small pocket camera to take to gigs (SSE Arena, O2 etc).
Although my S110 did well on the video front, the audio would distort badly on any loud peaks.

I had a couple of Lumix cameras a few years ago, and although they didnt have audio in adjustment i just couldn't get them to distort, not even if sitting on my bass rig. The problem was i also couldn't set shutter speed in video mode, so got lots of choppy footage, especially in bright daylight.

so, time to get something else.

Must haves:
Raw shooting for stills.
At least a x5 optical zoom lens, the faster the better but i appreciate the longer it is the slower it will be at the long end.
Manual control for both audio and video (shutter speed, and audio levels). The ability to set the shutter speed to 1/25 or 1/50 is needed. Mic attenuation is also something id make use of.
Small so it fits in a jacket pocket. Must have a non detachable lens (dont want security taking it), but as long as it doesn't look too 'pro' im sure size isn't too important. A bulky bridge camera is out though.

Ive only just started looking, but it seems hard to track down what will, and wont be useful in loud situations. Im not interested in an external mic or recorder. I have all those and there is no way id take something like that to a gig. I have an iphone 8 plus, and while im happy to use that, and get good results, i need a decent zoom and the phone just doesn't cut it.
Im not too bothered about 4k, although it would be nice.

Price wise, id like to keep things fairly cheap, but do understand that if i want premium features, they are going to cost more. Under £500 would be good, under £300 perfect.

Appreciate any suggestions.
