Week 40 : Heavy

37250 pulling away from Bewdley on the Severn Valley Railway yesterday. They had 10 examples of these heavy haulers up and down the railway to celebrate 65 years of the Class 37. Many examples on both heritage lines and earning a crust working on the mainline.

Nice diagonal / leading line and atmospheric puff of exhaust…can almost smell the diesel.
 
You did promise us some heavy trains and delivered a good one!
 
Nice one, some great details there. Lovely colours on the engine, looking pretty good for 60 odd :)

Week 41 : Night Photography

The Crossing.
The West Coast Main Line level crossing at Hest Bank, Morecambe. With the pub on the right "The Cossing".

I chose a Manchester Airport to Edinburgh TPE train as the blue matches the bridge :)
