The TP52 - 2026 Oy's Bonkers Beffudlements 2026. Week 13 : The Night Sky

That's a cracker. The rot against the paint works really nicely. I like the wider shot too, but the tighter shot maximises the effect.

Two great shots Dave, if I had to choose, I might be leaning towards #1 but both work really well.

Week 3 : Windows & Doors

Yesterday I caught two trains and had a walk down Grange over sands prom to see how the old LIDO restoration is going on, knowing that there would be windows and doors.

This was the shot I wanted through the locked bars. Yep - windows, doors, diving boads, arches etc.

But then on the way back as the clouds dropped we got this brief pair of windows in the gloom and I couldn't resist! It may be a slight shoehorn as it wasn't the shot I went for - but sod it - I love it and I'm not sorry :angelic: :exit:

You know me, I like to try and think laterally, so I approve of the use of 'window' in this context.

I'd file that in the 'EPIC' category.
Many thanks Kell :)

That really is a great shot.
The god beams really illuminate teh shot well.

Given it's you, my immediate thought was that was a toad, a flat bed and some 16Ts, but it's not.
What have you done with @-Oy- , please return him asap.

Ta :)

There was a railway line just to my right. But no trains kept comin! :ROFLMAO:

Cracking shot Dave, you were right to crow bar it in, Simple and ethereal will always work.

I'm pleased to see that work is going on to restore the Grange Lido.

meanwhile.....

The cloud shot is an absolute stunner!

The shoehorn is more of a crowbar but I love its the drama of the sky is superb.

That's very subtle Dave - a cracking shot.
Cheers Simon :)

Happy to lever it in a bit as I'd visited the site specifically to get a shot for the theme. Two trains each way and a 30min walk to get there - in the rain!

Great shoehorn, but a great shot too. Although I do also like the lido picture

Week 4 : Something Broken

This small Yacht broke from it's moorings down the coast in Fletwood during a storm before Christmas and finally came to rest here in Morecambe.

"That's going nowhere!"

Great spot, well done :)

Yeah, comprehensively broke. I like the tones, they really suit the subject matter.

Suits the theme and well broken, looks like the weather hasn't improved much, Assume the owner will be getting a bill to pay for recovery/removal

Just need Jack Sparrow on top of it! Great picture and works really well in B&W
Ta Simon :)

the flash of white sail makes the image, definately broken.

Cheers Allan

Great image Dave, you sunk that perfectly!

Ta Bill :)

It's Jack Sparrow's boat lol well done
Ta Adam
