Thanks AdamNicely done.
Ta Paul - to be honest I hadn't noticed itThat is a lovely shot in its own right, and perfect for the theme - different, but perfect.
The only bit which isn't quite right (to me) is the chain and wire dangling down. You'll probably tell me it was deliberate, but it really draws my eye. It's perfectly in focus and even looks like it has been sharpened, with a bit of a halo around it.
Cheers Simon. It's a dangley red light thingSuch a good shot, especially with the blurred train in the background. As Boots says my eye is drawn to the dangly red light/reflector, I'm just curious to what it is.
Ta muchly Wayne.Nice photo, you have captured the speed of the train through the blur and then framed it!

Ta AllanExcellent start, nice bit of decorative architecture.
Cheers AlanOh yes, I really like this, the train properly finishes the shot.
Thanks SimonNice one Dave. I like the composition in this shot.
Ta KeithLovely pillars and got the train at just the right spot, did we see these columns last year with hanging baskets on?
Cheers BillReally nice shot Dave, the shallow DOF with the train framed in the background really makes the image pop.
Thanks PeteNicely done Dave. The painted iron ornamentation looks great and the train is framed beautifully.
Ta KeithThat's a cracker for the theme, well worth the drive
Cheers AlanFantastic !!

Thanks KaneGreat image, I love the close up. I wasn't sure what it was till I came to this thread - thought maybe a tractor! I think mixing rust and decay is a bit difficult - each easy to find alone. So the wood and metal of the boat is ideal.
On the constructive side I'd perhaps just pull back the highlights a smidge under the 'E' as my eye is currently drawn straight to it. Whereas personally I think the bottom 2/3rds are the most interesting.
Ta WayneNo wonder its falling to bits if you shoved it Dave, Smashed both aspects of the theme
Thanks Adam. I'm a big fan of the 'Scene setter'I like both of those images as the first gives a view of the surrounding also. Nice one![]()
Ta AllanNice subject matter, good shot for the theme.
Ta Simon. Wider as a photo but chosen for the themeOooh, I love those two images Dave. Nailed the theme (as always). I'm slightly drawn to the wider image, but both are belters.
Cheers PaulGreat shot, especially the chosen one. Perfect for the theme.
Thanks PeteTwo cracking shots Dave and I can't pick a favourite.
Cheers SimonGreat find, both pictures are great, the mix of colours and rust really makes the boat tell a story.
