can sum one help me please i got the e330 when the compact flash card is in i cant get the display or anything to work but if it is taken out the display come alive the camera works any ideas iam thinking the compact card is bust i have not got a xd card to try regards keith

Sounds as though there is an issue with the contacts on the CF card, corrupting it's output. Not a serious problem as long as it's just the card. If it's the pins in the camera, you may be able to straighten one or two, but if it's more, it's a repair job, and you may find it cheaper to buy a second hand body.
