Parallel - Well processed image, the framing and subject work well for the theme.

Metal - A really nice capture with the composition gently taking me through the image. Viewed on my iPad I also it cropped from top as it disappeared off the display, personally I think it worked too losing some of the sky.

Treasure - A different take on the theme but ticks the box twice!

Solid - Great silhouette with plenty of foreground interest.

Beginning with a P - The drink looks like something you see on a Halloween stall. The colour of a food/drink definitely does influence your initial thoughts on how it tastes. I will take your word on it being palatable!

That looks disgusting, hope it tasted better than it looks!

I like the size of the subject in the frame and the expression and body language. The lack of separation gives it context.

Week 25 : Snapper's Choice

Incoming Gannet at Bempton Cliffs this morning.

What a great shot Dave, I really love this. Tack sharp and full of action.
 
Great shot and the background really helps to show off the Gannet, what lens did you use.
 
Lovely! Great timing and the colours are really nice too. Really well executed as well (sharpness, DoF etc). One to be proud of.

Thanks Jim. Just finished going through the pix from 2 days at Bempton. Being VERY ruthless I have 120 absolute must have keepers! :D

Wow!! That's a fabulous shot. My sister in law goes to Bempton quite often as she's not far away - a great place for seabirds.

Lovely. Made me smile and remember the routines... the stripper song in the kitchen and the police car not selling much ice cream at that speed :D

Great shot the black and white really suits it too. The clouds are quite dramatic too.
