Yes
Reports coming through on the news of an incident at Oxford Circus. People are being put into shops and locked inside.
Witnesses have heard gunshots

Just as well I went there yesterday instead of today, lucky.

Incident now over. No evidence of gunshots, people just Panicked?

Friends wife was down there. She found sanctuary in an expensive bar.
My fav message was "Black Friday shopping getting out of hand. Going tooled up to say £40 on a 50" tv?" :D
She's in a taxi back to Paddington as she's a little tiddly, the excuse was they were locked in

Olly murs was apparently trapped in selfridges and tweeting. He's been getting some fun tweets back asking if his heart skipped a beat.
My fav is that Isis has denied responsibility for olly murs.

I'm not sure I would want to be locked in a shop. If you then need to escape it would be tricky, would always try to be on the outside.

Tommy Robinson immediately tried to make something of it, now has deleted his tweet and is backtracking

I was "caught up" in this.

By "caught up", I mean trying to walk down the road whilst 30 screaming idiots ran in the opposite direction. This was a full 20 minutes AFTER the Met had tweeted there was no shooter, no bomb, no casualties (i.e. nothing happened).

What amazes me is the people who had been all over social media claiming to have heard gunshots, explosions etc. Some even claimed to have seen people being shot. How sad do you need to be to fabricate a terrorist attack to get attention on social media? How much Police time was wasted by these false reports?

I can understand how people panic when they see other people running. But falsely claiming to see people being shot is just weird.
