Can't remember what the worm stuff's called. Has to be prescribed by the vet but it's cheaper to do it like that than to take her in to get a tablet down her every 3 months! Ah! Just come to me! Profender is the worm stuff. The flea/tick stuff comes from Sainsbury's since they're cheaper for it than the vet but it's the same stuff and no prescription needed. Touch wood, the Frontline works well here - no sign of any passengers anyway! She doesn't now have access to open farmland so less chance of ticks but there are quite a few local cats (as well as hedgehogs and foxes) who share the territory so it's probably better safe than sorry.
Yup, if she spots the pipette, she's off! We now get everything ready to dose her then wait for her to forget what she's seen then pounce. If we get it just right, she's dosed and released before she realises what's happened so we don't get injured. We tried the tablets and powders but she'd rather starve!
