Hi All..

I'm a complete newbie to photography, I've used small pocket cameras and an elderly Nikon that was given to me, but I've never had a "proper" Camera..

I can't afford a DSLR yet, nor do I have any inkling what all the settings are for!

My Camera is Nikon Coolpix P510 which was reccomended to me by a pal as a good all round bridge to get me going.

My main interests are wildlife, nature ( as I am an angler) and motorcycling, I spend a lot of time outdoors and find my camera spending more and more time out with me.

Please excuse any idiotic:cuckoo: questions I may ask, because I promise there will be a few!

Hey Kev Welcome, I may be a bit biased but you are pretty much spoiled for choice for things to photograph in Liverpool and the surrounding areas and an old nikon or a pocket camera are proper so dont worry just yet about a DSLR, just enjoy your days out and taking photos because thats what it is all about and although some technical people may not agree but in my book the content of a photo beats quality hands down.
