My workflow:
Shoot Raw,
After adjustments: Save as psd
Convert all the keepers to hi quality jpeg - which then get archived, used for reprints (copied then resized as needed) and used to produce the web versions with border and signature..
However, I'm concerned about the difference between my final psd file and the hi res jpeg, in particular the sharpeness which seems to disappear when I convert to jpeg, always at max quality.
I tried it with TIFF too, and it was the same. My web images don't show this problem as they are sharpened in the web gallery software, and the latest reprints haven't been bad. But there is a definite issue when I view it on the PC...
I want to output the images to disc at the same sharp quality I view them on my PC in PSD format, but in the high quality jpeg format or TIFF.. either way, it must be as sharp as the psd.
Any ideas?
