I'm using Office 2007 on Windows 7 Ultimate, which includes Outlook as you say, with no problems......

I didn't know that you had to pay for outlook express these days  Can't say I've touched it for more than a decade but always thought it vastly inferior to Outlook.

I'm pretty sure the answer to you question is yes - but consider Postbox. Everything I did, workwise, revolved around Outlook even after I moved to macs. But now I use Postbox which is the same on both pc and macs.

I can highly recommend it and here's a link that should save money too although I believe there is also a free version now

outlook express? they dont even make that anymore.. do you mean the straight version of outlook 2010?

free version is now windows live mail. and works find under windows 7 with the right settings from your ISP/host. i have 3 accounts set up in mine with no hassle.

but answer to the original question, office 2007 works fine under windows 7.

I got fed up with the various Windows mail products crashing on me and moved to Mozilla Thunderbird- much, much better

Where is Outlook Express?

Outlook Express has been replaced by Windows Mail, an improved e‑mail program with enhancements such as junk e‑mail filtering and protection against phishing messages.

•Open Windows Mail by clicking the Start button , clicking All Programs, and then clicking Windows Mail.

Windows Mail has been upgraded to Windows Live Mail, which contains even more enhancements, such as the ability to automatically configure itself to work with many popular e‑mail services. To download Windows Live Mail, go to the Windows Live Mail website.
b****r!
I actually like "Outlook express" not a fan of "outlook" though
and I don't like the look of the new windows mail either

Oh well back to pen paper and envelopes :(
