Gutted. And feeling sorry for myself.

Day 2 of hospital stay, drugged up on morphine and other flavours, awaiting an MRI, which, apparently is my fault that I showed up in A&E too late on a Thursay night for anything to be arranged within a reasonable time frame... I'm away from my camera, my little digital world where I get to makecthingscperfect.and I want my mom...(never too old for that)...

Not looking for anyone's sympathies... But I really could just cry.

I've even had to postpone two shoots! Both first time clients too... They won't be back... :(

Sorry to hear your pain but it could be worse ... you could be the relative left at home!
My wife has just been discharged after spending a week in hospital ... she just doesn't seem to realise the suffering I've experienced having to get my own coffee, do the dishes, find out how the washing machine works, then there's the cooking and recycling - actually the slow cooker works a treat there ... anything about to go off in the fridge got slung into the slow cooker and was recycled, saved on washing up and an almost different flavour to the meal every day :D

Your health has to come before work - here's hoping it's nothing too serious and your back up and running soon.

Aww thanks. Don't know how longtime going to be here...surgery is looking on the cards and apparently he wants to move me to Derby for it. Feel so alone , my mom is in Canada, and you're never too old for your mom... I have never been so ill and it's scarey. If I get through this, I'll never take anything for granted again. Yup, turns out I'm just a big sissy girl after all...

They can be noisy but try not to fall asleep as I did ;)

Sounds like a blast... Not! I hear they are really noisy and not very pleasant if you're claustrophobic ... Which happily I'm not. Cant imagine how hard it would be for die hard phobics...
 
They are normally fitted with a panic button! :exit:

MRI's are over within 5mins tops! Don't look up and just look at your feet take your mind off the situation! It's just slightly noisey!

Depends. I've had NHS ones that took an hour of 'don't move', very loud hum with earplugs in, or Private ones that had earphones, radio or DVD player and very comfortable
 
Ha nice,would love to see DVD player! I have had 4 since February, not come across any hidden toys in these machines yet!
Agree with the loud hum, but luckily not been in longer than 5 mins, just didn't like the dye they put into you!!
 
Thanks everyone for all your kind words... Sorry not been back in awhile. MRI got cancelled but finally got there Wednesday. Not what I was hoping for a result... But could be worse. Just going to take some time...

Been over a week now since I've had my camera in my hands. I've missed my butterflies hatching and being able to photograph them. Gutted.

Anyway, thanks for all the kind words and support, my TP family. :)
 
Do take care... and time, if that's what is required to heal. There will be more flutterbies next year. :)
