2 bodies, one with 70-200 the other with 17-55
Depends on how close you can get to the cars.
I'd probably say your 10-20mm would be your best option - allowing you to get very up close and personal with them if needed.
I usually only go in the paddock at the end of the day. Ile probably just take the 60d with the 55-250mm on it then then before I go round the paddock put the 10-20mm on it
Depends on how close you can get to the cars - some meetings the paddock is very crowded, others its not so.

Yeah. Im going tomorrow and its the F3/British GT so it should be busy
Looking forward to Mondays racing ...
Same here. Were you there today? .
your lenses will be fine.. dont worry.
10-20mm will come in very handy.
you wont need two bodies though. you can use one body and errrr change the lens on it?
Yeah I was in the paddock last night and the 10-20mm did come in very handy. Main aim is to get a longer/sharper lens for out on the track I think
For Oulton Park you can use successfully a 300mm lens. You can manage with a 200mm aswell depending on where you are and what you're after.
Yes depends on what you're shooting and where they are - bikes v cars, head on in/out of a bend v side on.
I generally try to do one or the other for a time and swap the lens over if needed for my next batch... Alternatively walk further away from the track and use the longer lens for side on shots. I've been half way up the hill round Demtons before now as I didn't want to swap the lens for a couple of shots![]()
I have a while to decide anyway yet
Are you allowed up demtons this weekend? I didn't see anyone on that side yesterday.
Don't know this weekend. You normally are and on a big weekend, the camping is usually that side of the track.
