Rang the Doctor a week or so ago, as I had noticed a sort of lump on my leg. I was given an appointment to see the Doctor on the same day, amazing. Within a few days I was given an appointment to be seen at the hospital, amazing. The hospital examined the spot / lump, and said they would like to remove it. They gave me an appointment for a few days later, amazing. Went in the other day, and the whipped it out, amazing service all round.

I thought it was only a little thing, but I was told it was a little deeper and a little bigger than it looked on the surface. I had three people working on me, I was a little worried that it may have been something sinister. They have sent it off for testing. They had a little bit of job, getting it out.

A big thank you to the Staff at St Helens Hospital. They were really caring, and I was treated really great. :)

They probably had you mixed up with someone else

It was only the size of a pimple, but they made about a three inch cut in my leg, and five stiches.

In my experience "I've got a lump / red mark / rash suddenly appear on....."
gets an appointment super quick.
They do seem to be pretty much on the ball, I suppose it is to catch anything very early on, if it does turn out to be something sinister.

I'm currently pleading with Mrs WW to go to the Dr about two lumps that have developed. The GP requested photos and told her they were nothing to worry about but one has since started to hurt and I'm desperate for her to push harder for an in person appointment.

Best to get it checked out, catching things early can be so important.

As I said, the receptionist asked me to forward a photo of the little lumps on my head and leg, she passed the photos onto the Doctor, who called me in the same day. They made an appointment at the hospital there and then. I was so impressed by the speed of it all.

Seems to be healing nicely. Such a big cut for such a small lump. Perhaps it was much bigger, below the surface of the skin.

I know. She's one of the stubbornest people I've ever met.
If she is stubborn take pictures of it for a week to see if there are any changes. This is how I convinced my wife to check a pimple out and we were right to get it checked and excised after all.

Going to the hospital this morning, this is to get the stiches removed from my head. The ones from my leg come out a few days later. Can't wait to get them out, been itching like mad.
