Hi, upgraded to Yosemite on both hackintosh workstation and macbook pro, but now can print to either of my epson 4800 pro.

One is USB one is networked.

Have reset printer system and reinstalled driver from epson site.

Can add USB printer and check ink levels, can't do print check.

If i try a print i can see it in the print que, but it does not print?

Network printer is not seen.

Both worked fine on Maverick.

anyone else having issues?

thanks

Had a similar problem several years ago. There were two suggestions from Epson.

1 Delete the printer from the system. Then re install by selecting the + tab. I'd use the computer connected via USB to the printer for this. I did find that it's better to restart the computer after I'd deleted the printer. This tends to work if the computer is seen but nothing happens in the print queue .It's sometimes a corrupted permissions problem, as you may see a wrong permissions message. This resets the permissions. Don't know why but if you do a repair permissions this happens.

2 A bit more drastic is to go to the library and remove the Epson entries in the printers folder. I simply moved them to a desktop folder. Then from the Epson web site get the latest driver for you 4880, and put this in the empty Epson folder. This worked for me with an upgrade to Lion, screwed the printer settings.

Thanks for reply.

Resetting the printer system does remove all printers from system, which i did.
I also downloaded and reinstalled the latest printer driver from epson.
Also tried the reboot option.
Also did permission repair.

What I have not done yet is remove all epson entries from library, this is my next step.

I had to remove the printer entries, but also restart my epson workforce printer and it came back online...
