Hi,

I'm trying to figure out a way to attach my Osmo Mobile unit to a standard tripod for motion timelapse and the like ... Yup there is an official extension rod, tripod etc but seems overkill given I already have a spare tripod .. I have a few mounts already which I thought were standard sizes but none seem to fit into the attachment hole on the Osmo mobile ..

You timed that question right Nigel, was just photographing my Osmo Mobile to put in the classifieds :)

This was my solution to your question:

It's the DJI OSMO UNIVERSAL MOUNT with a few bits added (wanted to be able to hold a mic and lighting if needed at same time).

Excellent .. yeah that kinda thing .... So the Universal mount seems to be the ticket, although was thinking getting something non official .. still thanks for posting ...

By the way ... this year we hope to pickup our first campervan .. so very interested in catching up with your blog :)
