OS X Photos app - Anyone found some de-dupe software that works with it yet?

I went ahead and took the plunge without reading the label first and migrated from iPhoto (on multiple Macs) to the new photos app. I've ended up with a load of duplicate images. Has anyone come across any dedupe software that works with Photos yet - all the iPhoto ones (MacPaw Gemini et al) aren't yet compatible and it's really annoying me!

Have you ended up with duplicates because you had them on your multiple macs before you 'upgraded' them and they are now syncing up via icloud? If so, could you not just stop the syncing and that may clear the duplicates out. Once you then have your master copy of images, clear all the photos from the other macs and restart the sync.

I'm not 100% sure how they ended up there, I think it's due to the way the iOS devices handle local photos & what used to be called photostream (cloud synced merge of photos from all devices), either way - it's done now, my iMac is the 'master' and has multiple dupes of the most recent 1000 or so photos. Having had a mooch round the net it seems I'm not alone in having this problem.

Have you tried turning off icloud syncing and seeing if that deletes the synced dupes. Worth a try to start with.
