Has anyone updated? Any promblens and is it worth the effort

I've been running the public beta for a while. No major issues, definitely worth it.

Make sure you have a full backup and check any important applications for compatibility before you upgrade.

Yep, done here, it.........................changes things. Two and half hours though! and that's on a very fast connection!
but no problems to speak of yet!

I've had it a few days, all good here. No idea what any of the changes do as i only had El Capitan for a week or so. Took me about an hour to d/l it and probably another hour to install.

Lr5 doesn't work with it but CC is fine.

Not yet. The optimised storage feature looks interesting. I worry about apple having a deleting spree though!

I generally avoid the early os X releases of any of them. After a few months they're usually better. IOS doesn't seem to be so bad.

Did the upgrade yesterday - about 30 mins from start the download to complete the installation.

Running fine, not tried Siri yet though...

I've just updated to Sierra with my 3 week old machine, a painless and reasonably quick task. Siri works well too!

Been running 10.12 since the first release of the dev releases, been painless all the way through on my 12" MacBook. Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC run fine and update fine too.

I like it, it's pretty good. Not ground breaking but solid for the last several months already.

Only two issues so far. LiveDrive has to be updated to the latest version otherwise the briefcase doesn't work. And Postbox doesn't like communicating with iCloud servers.

I did it with no problems -except - when I installed El Capitan my (bought) scanner software did not work, so had to pay for the upgrade, this time my version of Quicken Elements did not work so had to get Quicken 2016 for USA, in both cases a payment had to be made.

My App Store isn't showing any available updates, I'm still on 10.11.6
It doesn't show as an update but as a featured app - you probably knew that, as I did but had forgotten.

I've been running my Mac Pro 1,1 upgraded to 2,1 on 10.8, 10.9, 10.10 and finally 10.11 even though official support ended with 10.7, maybe just maybe the clever people in the Mac community can develop a solution for your machine fabs?

Maybe but I'm not overly bothered if I'm honest. The Mac is 7 years old and the update probably won't give me anything I really need an may well slow it down anyway.

I've installed but got an annoying problem with safari, if I swipe to go back (as I have done thousands of times before) on my Logitech trackpad the tab moves ever so slightly right then stays there and freezes up Safari. However, if I clikcon the Siri or the date and time twice it becomes unstuck and I'm good to go again.

Sounds like it might need an update to the drivers / software ??

Might be worth an uninstall / re-install and see if that helps ?

I've discovered an issue with Photoshop CC and Sierra - Photoshop crashes when you try and open a file within it. Opening via Lightroom seems to be unaffected, which is probably why I didn't notice it before.

Does anyone have any problems with plugins? When I updated to El Capitan, I remember losing all my Topaz plugins etc.

I upgraded and a week or so ago did a Time Machine restore to the previous iOS as had an issue when attaching or uploading files to email/web/folders
