They sell the 8mm cine film version at the Widescreen Centre so might be worth having a word with them or you could just contact Orwo or of course there's always the well known auction site

If anyone else is interested, I've just heard back from the UK ORWO dealer. They quoted me £105.60 for two 100' bulk rolls of UN54 including VAT and delivery. So about a couple of quid more expensive than 200' of HP5+ from Maco, at current exchange rates.

More info for anyone who wants to get hold of some ORWO film. It's not possible to buy direct from FilmoTec (I assume it's commercial quantities only), so you need to contact the UK representative, Tom Samuels (details here: http://www.filmotec.de/?page_id=353&lang=en)

Hey Nick - I will be at some point when I've gone through my current stock of B&W, but not right now...freezer is full 
I didn't ask Tom about volume discounts but I'm sure there may be a bit of wiggle room if you can get an order in for a few reels, as his price includes postage.

I've just got a couple of rolls of UN54 and N74 to try, so I may be a little more eager to invest in 100' after they are developed. Also very tempted this morning after looking at the ORWO flickr page again. The UN54 looks like a really great film. I can't believe there's nobody stocking it in bulk for a decent price in the UK. You can get 400' rolls in the US for about £115 but they won't ship it outside of North America. I was hoping to buy from the manufacturer, with the Euro being so weak, but again, they don't seem to want my money. No wonder they've gone bankrupt twice!

I believe NTphotoworks.com stock that stuff, they may even be able to get bulk for you... worth chucking them an email.
