need help guys

i just came back from a shoot and had two camera with me. I've just realised one camera was an hour forward to the other camera (forgot to move the clock backwards few months ago)

How can i organise the images so that they were taken on time if the one hour is an hour forward

OR

is there a software which will allow me to manually order them then rename them accordingly??

Lightroom will let you order photos any which way but might be overkill for this.

In lightroom you can also adjust the time of a selected batch by a set amount (i.e. +1 hour, +2 hours etc), so they all move forward by that amount, but keep the same relative differences to each other.

Should fix the problem. If you don't have Lightroom you could download the trial, make the change and write the XMP data back to the JPGs.

As everyone else has said - Lightroom is brilliant for this and if the 2 cameras are different models, you can filter for one or the other. That way you can just choose your camera and change all the resulting pics... Easy! :)

Or if you shot RAW, and you want to actually change the time in the RAW files (no mucking about with XMP files and the like) then BreezeBrowser will do the job. It sounds scary but it works.

If you're like me you can download a free evaluation copy to try it, and then buy it when you make the same mistake the second time!
