Now that really is a cool shot Bri! As soon as I saw it I was going to ask if you had neck ache or felt sick! Was indeed well worth it - the hair looks sharp! (in focus too!). Only thing I am not sure on is the inclusion of the hand... was it to signify anything?
Cheers guys
Smooth - I wasn't really thinking about the hand when I did it, it just seemed natural. Personally I really like it and think it adds to the photo.
Oh my goodness, it took me HOURS to get this how I wanted it. I'm still not that brilliant at photoshop so I guess I was a bit limited as to how good I could make it, but I'm quite pleased with this and it's the best I can do! Besides, I'd rather challenge myself than stay in my comfort zone. Never going to get better otherwise am I
Oh and looking at the amount of views I have had on this thread, I think a lot of people are browsing but not commenting haha any comments/criticism is appreciated guys
#46 is a great capture.
#47 - I prefer shot 2. Your first shot looks a little over-exposed. Flash or bright window? Looks like a window to me and a reflector to push some light back to the LH side of your face might have helped you get a lower exposure.
#48 is really really good. Really good.
i love the last shot, think you did a great job, in fact i havn't seen any shots on your thread that havn't been well thought out and well taken, all of them have an interesting air to them. Keep up the good work Briony
Thanks guys!!
Roo - I have no idea what I am doing for no. 50! I'm scared because I like my last 3 images so much, I'm really proud of them...which means I have to keep excelling myself and creating images that are better each day as I don't want to go backwards. I feel under a lot of pressure haha
This wasn't my original concept...my idea just wasn't going to plan AT ALL so I'm doing to reshoot tomorrow and hopefully it will work. I had tons of cloud images so I thought I would make use of them.
It took me forever to get this kind of okay, still not 100% happy with it but I have spent way too long on it and I need to get ready for a night out!
The small version doesn't do this justice. Fantastic blue sky and clouds and you've done a fine job popping yourself into the middle of it. The pose looks tricky but it works very well with the birds above. This post gets better the longer it goes on
Your early stuff was good - the recent stuff is getting better and better. I have no clue how you keep on coming up with all the different ideas - but keep it up
I know I've been doing a lot of photoshop stuff on these last three photos, but it's good practice for me! I'm using this photo (and other similar ones which I may post in the comments) as part of my Final Major Project at University - surrealism. We got to chose our own topic which was pretty good...
That's brilliant. made me chuckle out loud Only niggle is the hands seem a little bright, but otherwise a fantastic idea and the processing is pretty damned good.
Darren - Thanks, and I'm glad it made you laugh! Hmm yes I see what you mean about the hands - the shot of me was taken in the same location at the same time as the background, so I don't know why the light on my hands was so bright...
Talking about my hands - oh my gosh, I spent ages on them (well, one hand)...In my right hand I was holding the remote, and in the photo you could see it, so I spent so long trying to edit it out with little success, so I had to replace my entire hand with one from another photo. But I had to flip it as it was the wrong way round, but then the lighting was all messed up haha. Sorted it in the end though!!
