Yes
I just picked up a OpTech strap while I was getting my home studio flash kit today. I've just put it on the camera and OH MY what a difference it makes. I've not used it extensively yet but the differecee is amazing.

Now to set up this home studio and give it a run for it's money.

I just thought I would share my good cheer!!! :D

Interesting. I've had a new one hanging around for well over a year now and haven't bothered to fit it. Maybe I should. Just a bit nervous of the D3 or D300 hanging around with the quick release clips. Suppose they should be ok!

Worry not. I hang my 40D and 120-300 F2.8 off one of these straps - all good!

Dont worry about them, they are a great investment

I have my 30d one hanging from an Optech strap. Don't worry about the quick release fasteners - they have been fine. If there was an issue with them I anticipate that the whole photographic world would know via the t'interweb. The issue of failure (as opposed to the fear of failure) isn't discussed probably because they don't fail (famous last words!).

The TPF ones are extra comfy, give you sharper pictures & make you much more attractive :D

Hang a griped 40D and 100-400L from my TP branded one, and have had no probs. :)

Looks like i'm fitting it then!

I find the QR catches pretty hard to open when I'm trying to use them, let alone by accident :D.

A bigger concern for me would be the "bootlace" type material that attach to the camera's eyelets :| - they look like they can fray quite easily. Still, you can buy these as spare parts, so as long as you keep an eye on the condition of them, no problem .

I find the QR catches and the "bootlace" bits to be fine. But I do think the shoulder pad is nowhere near as non-slip as OpTech suggest it is. The best shoulder pad by far is the UpStrap one, now that really doesn't slip at all.
