Hello folks

Just trying to kick start my love of photography.

Thinking wide angle - Nikon 18-35 or prime 24mm 1.8g

Any thoughts

On what camera? The 24mm won't be wide in a cropped body.

Also what are you shooting with them?

I think there is a lot to be said for the prime option especially to "kick start my love of photography" so I'd go for the 24mm option. Incidentally, I've just got the Zeiss Batis 25mm for my Sony A7 and am loving it but then I've always preferred primes to zooms.

I'd go for the zoom every time. Primes are so last century...
