Ok, so my budget allows me to either buy the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 (non IS lens) ... Or the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM!

Im leaning towards the Sigma, purely for the IS/OS.
Thoughts please! Thanks!
 
What stuff will you be shooting with it?
 
It will varied to be honest.. but there will be a lot of lower light stuff... chapels, etc for weddings/events.
 
Ill be watching this thread as I can't decide whether get the IS in the canon version or non is

The Canon is pretty sharp and focusses almost instantly. I have the IS version and love it. Maybe you can wait a few months till the new Tamron 70-200 VC hits the stores. It's likely to be a serious contender.
