Just looking for some opinions on the current website look, not looking for comments on images or text just how it looks and functions, I have worked on it the past couple of months trying to make it look professional and modern, be good to hear what you think of it, all comments and improvement tips welcome :)

Most content is in 1st person ... "I am...", " My work..." etc, however your 'About JTP' page is in the third person "Joe is..." - looks a bit odd IMO.
Nice index page but the remaining pages look a bit content sparse.

Funny enough mate the reason its looking like atm is because I'am just going though it now as we speak hence the comments on site style only in my original post & thanks for the comments, I'am aware a few pages like the guestbook and contact pages specially that need some more content in them or showcased better which I shall get to work on soon :)

Sorry but I think it looks too dated, a problem with a lot of ClickPic stuff. It is not responsive for tablets and mobiles either, something I think is essential these days.

Thanks for your honest feedback, that is what my mind is thinking aswell, I'am feeling a change maybe whats needed...

Like the layout/template..however..sits too close to top of screen, and font too small (well at least for older buggers like me with failing eyesight lol!)

Cheers for your feedback Robin :) I agree I find the site on my 23inch monitor to be too small if I'am being honest with myself. I'am currently building a new site on Zenfolio and it already looks 10x better I must admit! Think I will gradually change over to them now...

"Please install flash" going to be difficult on the iPad I'm on. I'm sure it's a nice site but, next......

I have to ask though, do your wedding packages work? They seem an odd mix of time constraint and photo constraint.

2 hours - 30 images - 1 every 4 minutes
4 hours - 50 images - 1 every 4.8 minutes
6 hours - 50 images - 1 every 7.2 minutes

What do you do if someone books you for the 4 hour wedding shoot and something really good and pivotal is going to happen 4hrs 15mins after you started?

I was with Zenfolio now use layerSpace, I'd check them out if I were you

If you are okay working with code etc, take a look at Wordpress.

Add your telephone number for people to contact you! On the weddings page some of the text on the left is cut off. Basically ok for what it is which is quite basic, first steps.

Hi Joe. Have a little feedback here.

  • If you're able to make the background white and the images larger that will help.
  • Most viewers looking to browse you will be on tablets and phones (60% of my traffic does now and growing). I'd consider responsive window sizing for the browser. Most photo templates will offer this now.
  • The small text font size is difficult to read. As its small it may be a little off putting for viewers who do want to read all the info you have inserted on prices etc.
  • On your Guestbook page you have many testimonials commenting about your website. I'd think about either removing the page and inserting Testimonials where comments about your photography can be read and seen. Website design comments rarely get bookings.
  • Shopping Cart is empty as present. I'd take this offline for the time being. Don't give people the option to click onto a black page.
Hope this helps. Keep up the photography!

Thanks for the comments everyone, the current website that you can currently see with me disappearing within a few days hopefully and my all new and improved one shall be up and running! :)

Here is a preview of the homepage, and the website is functioning for tablets and mobile devices and changing sizes depending on monitor which is a great improvement!
