Does anyone have a fix for opening JPEG,s in camera RAW in photoshop CC, I always get the white box that comes up and say's "camera raw editing is not enabled" I had the same in CS6 put I got a fix for that, is there anything available for CC ?

Thanks for the reply, however I think this is some sort of Adobe fault which seems to have gone on for quite a while now, I remember it in CS5 and CS6, I can't understand why they just can't fix this permanently as it's not something complicated, if you have the know how that is, as I said their was a fix in 5 and 6, but nothing for CC that I can find at the moment.

I don't edit JPEGs in Camera Raw myself, but I've just tried it in Photoshop CC and it works fine for me.

I appreciate that doesn't help you too much with the problem you're experiencing, but maybe it isn't a problem with Photoshop but with something elsewhere.

It may be helpful if you state what OS you're using, and how you're trying to open your files.

I simply opened from within Photoshop by: 'File' > 'Open...' > in the dialog box I selected the 'Format:' as 'Camera Raw' > 'Open'

IIRC you can set the preferences within Camera Raw to open all JPEGs, then opening from Bridge will always use Camera Raw (I don't use Bridge so I can't test this for certain).

I'm sure others will have better ideas for you.

Thanks, yes I tried that and it works, however when I try to put it back to opening in JPEG it won't open. In bridge what normally happens is you open a JPEG then right click on it, then it will say open in camera RAW, but it won't open, as it say's "camera raw editing is not enabled" like I said their is a fix in CS5 and 6 but nothing for CC as yet I can find
