Correct, though it means it only moves very slowly compared to normal or sport.

As rick said. the old tripod mode was about 1 metre per second, cine mode is about 5 metres per second, I preferred the old mode myself.

You can configure the gimbal speeds and smoothness for the different settings as well, more useful for video than photography
