onone Photoframe 3 help

I have onone Photoframe 3 that I have not used for quite a while as I went off borders. I want to add some to my images again but I have a couple of issues.

1) How do I make sure the top/bottom and side widths stay equal? I have constrain proportions on but they seem to look out of proportion.

2) This is the one that is really bugging me. How do you add the border outside the image? I have my image all cropped how I want it but photoframe seems to add the frame inside the image and so take part of it away.

I'd love to help you with photoframe but for some odd reason none of onones products seem to want to run on my computer, I always get messages with missing library or something similar.
If you have photoshop simply add canvas size (image> canvas size) just add a set number of pixles to each side.

I have Plug-in Suite 4 but rarely use Photoframe so can't really help... have you looked at the tutorial for Photoframe 4 HERE? Don't know if it applies to Photoframe 3 or even if it answers your question... but it might help. A bit.

Of all the plug-ins I have bought, OnOne have been the most problematic and glitchy. Tech support have been pretty helpful though, they do respond quickly... and I do like the product!
