Hi everyone just wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a few firms that offer online selling opportunitys im currently looking at colourworld imaging as the main candidate but was wondering if theres anyone else you guys would reccomend. Im curently involved in my church media team and were lookin at ways to raise extra revenue and i thought on this as we run numerous conferences during them year and thought selling prints from event photography. Ive used colourworld before and quality wise they were good and the fact you can upload the photos and just sit back is the kind of thing were lookin for, the idea is to be able to link to the page with the photos on via our website, facebook and twitter and let people order what they want.

I dont understand? you keep mentioning colourworld (who i have never heard of) and say you have used them and you seem happy wiht them..

so wouldnt the answer be colourworld? or is there somehting your not telling us...

give us all the info in one go and we can help.. theres loads out there :)

No c is for my surname, i only mentioned them as they are the only firm i know of that offer that service. Basically were looking for something we can upload the photos to and let people order any photos they want. We intend to use social media and our website to link to the pages on the internet where people can order their prints.

Hope this clears it up a bit

No offence intended Eddy.

I'm not sure of the print quality as I've never used them, but I think Photobox offer a service like this as well. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Cheers

As above kipax its just to see what else is out there and what our options are with regards selling prints (thinking event photography type thing) are and how best to get them out to the people who would want to buy them. We curently sell prints via a contact sheet at reception but it takes a lot of time and organising. We already have a website designed and maintained on site so adding links will be no bother and we use facebook and twitter a lot too so the plan is to put them to use also.

Colourworld are really well known, seems some people here need to broaden their knowledge of potential services. Try Smugmug they use Loxley to print your photos.
