Hi,

Has anyone got any recommendations on which online company has the best quality prints for the money?

Thanks

I use DSCL for run of the mill stuff and Togsprints for larger stuff.

DSCL

I've just been in touch with Colorworld. I used to use them for all my wedding and portrait packages many years ago in my film days and their quality was superb. They are printing three of my digital pictures free of charge for me to assess their work. They will produce three prints with the colour as I have it and three with the colour assessed by their technicians.

I've downloaded the automated software and all looks good up to now.

I asked a similar question a few months back. The general answer seemed to be DSCL.

I've since used DSCL many times and have always been happy with their results, speedy delivery and fair prices.

Have always used Photobox. ... colours not always perfect and a bit dark at time.. Just started on DSCL and am happy.

DSCL looks a good option as i cant find a bad review from anyone. i have 1 question though does anyone know if the citylink option can be used for any order or is it only orders overs £40 as I really dont trust Royal mail except if its Special Delivery and that costs more than City Link.

Thanks

Andy

I use DSCL a LOT, never had a problem with standard delivery from RM.

Have used photobox for two sets of prints. postage has been quick and there are always deals so work out which is right for you (google for: "photobox voucher codes").

Admittedly I've just wanted physical copies rather than stunning colour reproduction. I've never thought they were bad quality, but that could be my eye and lack of comparisons to other prints.

My mother in law used photobox and some of the pictures seemed very dark. Also she had a print on canvas from them and the colour was very over saturated.

Will check DSCL, thanks for the advice

Just looking at DSCL delivery and they state 1-10 days delivery, do you normally get your prints within a few days as 10 days seems a long time.

They also say that you should try and send them 300dpi images, all of mine are 72dpi, will this cause an issue??

Thanks

Er, yep, is there an easy way to change over 100 images or do I need to do each one at a time?

Has anyone got recent experience with Jessops printing service??

Only done a few DSCL orders but the longest I had to wait was order on a Weds and get on a Friday! Very good standard, although do not go for colour correct, I did a few as a test and they looked awful!

Pearls are lovely!

I'm not quite sure when the search facility was restored but it is working now.

There are literally dozens of threads on 'best labs'.

I used to use DSCL. Turnaround cannot be faulted but when I compared print quality from the same set of files, http://www.samsphotolab.com produced more pleasing results.
