Sorry for the very strange title, but what i am essentially after is the names of some good websites where you can upload your photographs to and send the links to clients who can then order straight from them.
What i would like to be able to do is
a) brand it like my website
b) set a different price for each photograph depending on the job
c) possibly password protect it
d) ideally only pay a percentage on all photographs ordered, rather than a monthly subscription.

any ideas anyone?
The only ones that seem to come up when i google are US ones.

Photobox pro galleries allow you to do this but I would consider the risk in letting the prints go to the client without checking them first. I've had prints with colour issues, bent corners and even someone else's print delivered before. If they went straight to the client after ordering from what appears to be an extension of your own site who do you think the client will blame?

Thanks for your reply Pxl8, i do know about photobox, but there are a couple of problems with them.
1) they are not private, you can't password protect them, they are in fact public galleries so anyone can see them and order from them,
2) you can set a price for all your photographs but not for different clients.

it is perhaps a bit too generic

You do have a good point in that you would want to see all the prints before forwarding to the client anyway, so perhaps i should forget the whole idea of it.

hmmmm...

Tell me where do you get your prints done?

Charlie

Depends on the job. For "general" stuff I've been using DSCL, for higher quality I use a guy locally.

I use Jalbum to create my galleries and you can set different prices for each folder but it does take a bit of mucking about to get it working.

You could always set up your own online shop within your site, then as an order comes in you then place the order yourself with another company.

I have used ifp3.com as a shop front as u can have a shop on there, you would just need to order the prints as the orders come in.

Oh thank you for your replies
I've never heard of DSCL, Jalbum or ifp3.com but i will google them.
excellent advice
cheers
