Just checked out the site and yes the prices do appear to be low, but as the items are being shipped from Hong Kong I presume I should allow for Customs Duty on top?
Am I right in thinking that if I ordered a camera lens the Duty is going to be typically 5-9% and will VAT be payable as well? (did see a reference on the Onestop Digital website, that they will refund VAT paid, but Duty? )
I also tried looking on the Customs & Excise website, but could not find the correct pages...........

You need to check closer, OneStop goods are VAT free. They will refund any vat paid.![]()
How can imported goods be VAT free? If these items are coming in from HK somebody has to pay the duties.
It's part of their price promise; hence why the poster stated "they will refund any VAT paid".![]()
Seems to me people are buying these goods and if not paying duty on import they could potentially get a bill from customs and excise somewhere down the line. Surely in law the duties are payable. Will Onestopdigital be around to pay the duties at a later date?
