they are from hong kong and offer the sigma 30mm way cheaper than in the UK, is there any custom/extra shipping charge problems with that?

I used them a few times about 5 years ago and most times there was no customs to pay, but on the couple of times there was a customs fee they refunded it when i emailed them a copy of the fee invoice.
 
use one stop but not recently
2-3 times now, no customs charges and have heard you can claim it back but never tried
 
I've used them before, no problems - as described on the existing OSD thread.
