Just on the off chance...

Anyone got a OnePlus 2 invite they could send my way please?
 
my one plus one seems to work ok.... well I've not noticed any issues.
 
Got my invite today, I was lucky enough to fire up facebook the day before yesterday just in time for one of their snap-em-up competitions. The invite I got was email specific.
 
Some people are getting general, non email specific, invites to give out as well
 
Never heard of it, just googled it. Looks pretty cool. Better than joining the church of apple.
 
I hate the way the company run the invite thing, they make you jump through hoops to be able to give them your money. I had actually given up on the phone, planning to either get something else or wait till stock levels got higher on the OPO2. As I said above, pure luck that I got online at the right time.

The promotion that they are running this week gives invites for following the instructions, Monday was 1000, Tuesday 2000, today 3000, and I assume Thurs 4000, Fri 5000 invites so a good chance to get one if you can hang about FB long enough.

Whilst there are loads of old time supporters of OnePlus who have not even received the invite they were promised as a priority for the OP2

No hoop jumping for me, they have lost a sale to me

Thinking of now getting the Galaxy s6 instead
 
I've said ever since this thing started that if I have to win a 'competition' just to be invited to give them my money then I am not interested. Small company or not, just sell the product.
 
I would like an invite if one is kicking around, but dont need it that much I have to start chasing or looking on that horrible place facebook
 
I got my invite the other day but deleted it. The time i took waiting i ended up just getting a onepplus 1 and im more than happy with that!
 
I thought they had invite free days!
 
Decided against getting a OP2 in the end.

Have just bought myself a Galaxy S6
 
Check the website everyday, when the first version went on sale they used to enable sales without an invite on average once a month
 
Got my DHL tracking number today, OP2 on the way from Shenzen. I don't think I'd have chosen another Sammy if the OP2 had not been on offer, nice phones but expensive and bloated The Nexus 6 beckoned but again I'm looking for a wee bit smaller now after my Mega 6.3. Tough choice between big screen and pocketability.
 
As an alternative I'm also liking what Motorola is doing with their vanilla android phones. And this new Wiley is not bad either.

OP2 arrived today, it was fun watching it travel from Shenzen to Inverness in under 48 hours! :D

Bad news is my sim card doesn't fit :( I have to wait three days now for a nano sized replacement.
 
You can just trim the SIM to make it nano with a craft knife?
 
I did think of that, even watched a youtube vid to see how it's done but the metal chip itself seems to be a bit larger than the sim holder so I didn't want to risk it. Three are sending me a new one so thay's ok and it will give me time to play..erm..set up the new phone.

I got another invite today as well, from day 2 of last weeks comp but it's email specific and I can't share it :(
 
If anyone has an invite that can be shared I'm very interested. My daughter has made up her mind that it will be an Oneplus 2 or a Wileyfox Storm whichever comes out first :)
 
I must admit, I quite fancy one of these, but at something like 2 million and change in the queue for an invite, It looks like I'm going to be relying on the generosity of someone passing an invite my way as well...
 
Sim arrived this morning, less than 24 hours after asking for it, fitted and working a treat. I like the size of the phone, the feel in my hand is great with the metal frame and the very rough back panel. My Samsung Mega 6.3 is/was a nice bit of kit but it's just too big to comfortably fit in a pocket whereas even in a case the OP2 fits nicely. For now I'm digging the fingerprint recognition but I can see it becoming a chore to do it every time I wake the phone up so it may not last even though it's very accurate and fast. Just need to source a 2m right angled USB type C cable now.

I had finger on the trigger, but then the only option would have been the increased memory version, at increased cost and it still hasn't got a high resolution screen or nfc for payments etc on it. I stuck with my Wileyfox order for £100 less. I think they've become too expensive.
