One with the nifty fifty

I've got the nifty at the moment and that means it's going everywhere with me right now so I don't miss anything.
I'm not going to be taking it anywhere exotic, well not if you don't include Bolton!

Here is one I took out the bedroom window tonight, I could not resist the weather over Manchester. I got some good ones with the 70-200 f4 but I didn't neglect the nifty, it got a turn too. Virtually no pp on this save a little sharpening of the RAW file. That is the Beaton Tower on the far right, it's the tallest building in Manchester to give the weather a bit of scale.

It's my birthday Sunday and thinking of getting the nifty :)
 
I'm having great fun with it, I was crawling around in a graveyard at sunset last night! It's good discipline to be restricted to one lens and have to go hunting for shots. It's fun and the nifty is a blast. I'm going to need to find some low light shots while I have it just because I can!

Treat yourself for your birthday, go on, you know you want to.........
