Hi, an open question.
If you had one week in the UK mainland during the summer to go anywhere where would you go?
Russ.

East Anglia (Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire) has to be up there I guess?

Bempton cliffs

Bempton Cliffs, Thornwick Bay pool with hide, North Landing, Flambourgh Headland, South Landing, Filey Brigg all within a few miles

And if you get fed up with sea birds, you could have a day on the North York moors for raptors.

Somewhere completely different to where you are now (or usually go)

Bempton Cliffs is a favorite of mine. I find that summer is not the best season for birds.

Isle of Harris and Lewis

Be a toss up between Poole harbour for Ospreys and Sea Eagles and or the Pembrokeshire coast, with maybe a sneaky boatride over to Skomer for Puffins and SEOs.
Sorry I always break the rules.

Early summer - Pembrokeshire including a few days on Skomer.

Thank you for all the input, going to Northumberland area with a trip to Staple and Inner Farne and surrounding areas. Russ
