are they any good ? looking to buy a sigma f1.4 30mm they are the cheapest i can find

I've bought from OSD before because they were the cheapest I could find. The only problem is that with them is that because they are based in Hong Kong, if you have a problem with the lens once it is delivered then you have an expensive postage bill to return the lens.

I have a Sigma 30mm f1.4 and I absolutely love it. It's by far the best and sharpest lens I have but I've heard a few stories of people buying soft copies that they've hd to return several times before they get a good one they are happy with.

I've bought a few bits and bobs from them over the years. Most recently (Feb 2011) I bought a Canon 135/2L lens. No complaints with service or price. I have never had to return anything or make a warranty claim. Canon glass has a worldwide warranty in any case, so not a problem for me. :)

Sigma are more fussy over warranty.

I have also used them with no problems. Hong Kong to Essex in 3 days... result.

Used them for a couple of items and all has been good, as above delivery within a few days. Also worth noting that you can save a few % by paying via bank transfer.

I've also used them without any problems. Just lately though the savings don't seem to be all that good - probably the value of the pound is the problem.

The 135/2L is £668 from OneStop. I paid less than that last month. The best price currently on CameraPriceBuster is £873 with delivery. Seems like a decent saving to me. You have to pick your bargains. :)

thanks for your replys i'am going to e-mail Kerso to see if he has one
