Ok after havent recently shot my second wedding! (and what a rush they are!) ive got 3 ring shots and i dont know which one i prefere! so i thought I would leave it to you judges, all have had a bit of PP ranging from a colour/contrast levels correction to a full on selective colouring, which one do you reckon I should use in the album?

I'm not expert in wedding photos so I don't know what is expected of ring shots .. I expect the experts will be along shortly.

I prefer #2.

#1 the reflection in the rings is distracting and #3 looks (to me) too much like a shot out of a Samuels brochure.

Certainly not number 3 i think its the H, Samual bit specificly,
Number one is spoilt by the horrible fringing or whatever around the leaves on the rose stem,
But Number 2 i really like.

Number 2 I think but I don't like the black leaves in top corner. Doesn't look right imo

1 or 2

I like the depth in 1 and I don't think the red fringes are a problem, you could try removing them and reposting for a comparison ?

well certainly alot of re-occuring advice! looks like the 2nd shot wins the round, ill try and sort the leaves in the top corner out though, they do look a bit black! thanks alot guys

#2 for me but my eyes seem to lose the rings also and the top of the rings just disappears into white

No 2 is the one.

No 1 looks really good but the orange / redish fringing draws your eye a bit.

No 3 whilst a good idea the box is wrong.

#2 is def the best of the bunch, but it needs some work on the processing. It looks to me like you've processed the background to make it white, but have missed bits between the rings and the rose, and the edges along the stem and around the leaves are amiss. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong, but imo with some work that could be a great photo! Do you have the original that you could post for further comment?

Not a tog myself, purely on a what I like and dislike. Definately #2, although it looks over processed a little. I'd like to see the originals of all three.
Ian.

while I think 2 is the better image, are there going to be other white background images? Otherwise it's going to look a bit random in a wedding album. It also needs tidying at the edges,
I would go for 1, under no circumstances 3 (due to the name of the jeweller's being visible)

a re edit of 6, dunno if the vignetting works too well, ill let you lot decide :P

That makes more 'sense' to me, in the context of a wedding, than a cut out. Not a fan of vignetting but that's personal choice
