I am like most of you probably, a minimalist. I like to keep everything minimal from the photo itself to the gear I used.
Now I'm planning on going strobist and originally planned for a two light set up consisting of a Jessops flash and a YN 460 and then it occured to me. What can you achieve using just one light?
So I thought it would be best to create this thread and get us to fill it up with one light pictures and show to others how much is possible with just a light. Now I am mainly concentrating on speedlights however anything from a desk lamp to a heavy wattage studio strobe will be accepted.
And for now I can't upload none myself because I haven't got my set up and won't get it till christmas but feel free to add to the thread and optionally post a brief wording of your set up but like I say most of you might only want to post pics so just go along with what you prefer.
The subject is focussed on portraiture and I will accept from all types of portraiture like weddings, models, glamour etc.
