Wondered if anyone can help

I've got an sb900 and a sigma flash with some radio triggers from my Nikon.. The sigma is fine 100% of the time, but the 900 seems to have this intermittent issue where it just refuses to fire.

It's got fresh batteries - I don't feel it's over heating or just waiting for the recycle, as it happens even when the Flash is on lowest power, or at the start of shoot.

Do we the there could be an intermittent fault with the 900?

Any thoughts will help cheers.

90% of the time fine....then occasionally won't fire...I had originally put it down to batteries, thinking there's something else going on now

Sounds like a dodgy contact somewhere, in the foot/shoe usually.
