camera manufacture : we can change one feature on your camera and that is any feature you like, only the one and thats not including the price, what would it be?

A universal mount that provides full functionality for any brand of lens. :D

Fujifilm X10,
100% coverage viewfinder with focus/exposure info. It would be an almost perfect camera then.

Do we have to be realistic? ;)

Canon 500D
Change: sensor from 1DX

Nikon D7000
Same ISO performance from the D4 :) :) :)

The potential D600 must be making your mouth water. Sounds perfect.

I'm going for something dead simple that potentially could be done with a firm wear change, so listen up Nikon... can you fix it for me so that when I hold down the ISO button on my D700 when as well as all the standard ISO settings selected by the rear dial, auto ISO could be toggled from the front dial.

I would like to see decent weatherproofing become standard on all camera.. not just the pro bodies. this is not for me as I use pro bodies but I have seen many a hobbyist cower when the weather has turned and have witnessed a few budget end bodies become paper weights...

its a shame IMO

Buildin VR on nikon cameras ........ so who care of buying VR lens when the camera have VR lol

Any Canikon body
Sensor stabilisation

With their huge stabilised lineups that will never happen but since I only shoot primes at the moment, it would be useful. However ISO performance is getting good enough that it doesn't really seem to matter i.e. they won't do it.

:plusone:

At least one Nikon lens I would mind having for my canon

Hip flask attachment, preferably with contents included?

Nikon D700 - dual card slot [but not with video or all those megamillions of pixels on D800 :gag: ]

Also, can I be REALLY mad?!?! .... well I am going to anyway... any chance Nikon could squeeze a medium format digital back onto my D700 too please? I'd accept some more pixels over a large area :D

Audio monitoring while filming in HD

Also, a crop sensor 'pro' body, something like a D2x with the D700 internals

Open source firmware, on all cameras.

As an Engineer it drives me bonkers that enforced software limitations prevents us from taking advantage of these mechanical masterpieces.

Oh well the world is run my marketeers and accountants now so we have to lump it, but hey we can always dream :)

Ah larger sensor on the 5d2 would be great bigger the better

An actual complaint:

Camera = D300s
Want changing = when using flash with auto iso, make the auto iso go down to whatever I set the base iso as instead of automatically going to the highest I set due to the shutter speed.

Only way around it at the moment if you want to use the onboard flash is to either disable auto iso or set the flash to commander and stick it on ttl. Seriously annoying, especially when you forget about it!

Sony Nex-7 or Fuji X-Pro 1 with full frame sensor :D

NEX 7 with FF sensor and the OM-D's In-Body Image Stabilisation and I'd buy it without hesitation.

I'd probably settle for the IBIS for now.

I want affordable large format camera sensors, not full frame not even medium format but a bigger and better sensor without annoying marketing extras that no-one need for example tilt shift effects inbuilt into the camera. I'm hoping this will happen in my lifetime with the next 10-20 years as I will never be able to afford a top of the range hasselblad

But you would also need a fordable 8k tv, no mission lol

Camera: Any.

Change: Press a magic button and a big sign pops out saying 'Uncle bob please stop asking me all these questions I'm trying to work thank you'.

And another one under that where he gets blown away should he decide his photo is more important that yours and ever so ignorantly get in your way :)

+1 for this.

Would be a simple fix too.

I listen to a lot of podcasts and they always talk about a camera, that you could plug a smart phone in and you download different apps or settings and work from there
That would be good

Sony are rumoured to be bringing out a Nex with an FF sensor...

Sony A580 - addition of a second control wheel. This is the one big irritation of this camera. Even my bridge camera has a front and rear wheel!

Sony A900
Extend the sensor dynamic range - 15, 16, 17 Ev?

I'm very happy with my 5D3, but could do with a few more focus points and spot focussing on my 60D. Nothing much really for me.
