One day workshop on Studio photography

Is anybody interested in sharing a one day training workshop on studio photography and lighting on the 15th April (Sunday)? There are three of us and we need a fourth. The course is run by Garry Edwards in Bradford and details are here http://www.compho.org/courses.htm

The cost of the day is £120 each and I'm hoping to save more than double this by not purchasing the wrong sort of equipment to kit out a home studio. I'm also hoping that I'll be able to make a start on my own photographic portfolio so that I can show friends etc that I can actually do some halfway decent work. This might be of interest to anyone who, like me, isn't really sure of the best sort of studio lighting and setups but wants to learn how the professionals do it.

As an aside, Garry's website has some really useful tutorials for free.

I had a look at the site but couldn't find any tutorials ? Am I looking in the wrong places? Any chance of a direct link to the tutorials.

I had the chance to attend one of the free courses back in Feb but was ill & missed out due to illness. Its something Id still like to do but dont think Im in a position to attend on the 15 April.
