One.com, one of the ones to avoid, personally I use Dreamhost, have done for years and now im using VPS its super fast too, cheap and 247 support.

I recently cancelled with one.com as no longer needed to host. Never had an issue with them, using a number of services including hosting, ftp etc. Was quick and reliable for me. Was with them for 7yrs.

When I posted this, I was having issues - website kept going down, the customer service wasn't great as it was almost as if they didn't believe me. Went on their facebook page, turns out I wasn't the only one, loads of posts about the same issues. It got sorted in the end. So I'm ok... for now.
