So me and my partner are getting married early August (50 days to be exact) But we have not booked a honey moon yet.

As we both LOVE photography (and I am not a fantastic flyer) we decided it would be cool to take my car across the Euro Tunnel and do a week or so road trip through Europe and hopefully make in to Venice.

My question is..... does anyone have some suggestions to what we must see & photograph en-route???

It would be good for us to start planning that part :lol:
 
Interlaken.......... Superb. That'll start you methinks :)
 
Interlacken is in Switzerland and is a fantastic base to explore the high region of Switzerland... close by are the jungfraujok and schilthorn mountain viewing galleries. The one at the schiltorn was where Her Majestys Secret Service the bond film was shot...

See my album for this... It does not cover the schilthorn as when I went up it was thick cloud and mist and never got a shot... but this album gives you an idea of the area... the mountain shots are from Jungfraujok... not sure if the names are spelt right!

I'd give Munich a miss for a honneymoon destination.

Err....and places ive not been but would like to go are... Normandy and the war graves, Loire Valley, Paris, Pyrineese in France, Italy, You could spend two weeks in Italy alone... in fact you could spend two months in Italy! I've always fancied spain too... but would be a bit out the way for a tour
 
I think italy is too far for a week. but maybe is just me. I think you can plan a lot of beutifull palces in france, Belgium and Holland
 
I have not been there but austria is meant to be an amazing country to visit with awesome mountains and things.

Try this route, it is motorway but it gives you the freedom to jump on and off at any time, Samoëns, which I have added, is located in the Vallée du Giffre in the French Alps and carries the designation of a "ville fleurie" distinguishing it as one of the most beautiful towns in France.

Hope you have a good run which ever way you go.
 
If you have to pick one out of Austria or Switzerland... Id go Switzerland!
