So, I go to the YT homepage today to see if my subscriptions have added anything.

See a rather appealing looking video from Nikon Australia - a stop motion video of their stand at PMA Melbourne 2010.

I go to load it, it comes up, and I spot a little football icon down at the bottom next to where you choose the resolution.

I click it, and it's those farking annoying trumpet things. Now, I haven't watched any of the world cup, don't know or care who's winning what who's knocked out or who's gonna win, but the kids up and down my street have these things (and foghorns?!!?) and they're constantly blasting them out in the street. Annoying as hell.

Why does Youtube try to make itself even more annoying than it already is?
 
Went out to the Post Office this morning, there were two teenagers walking down the main road fooling about with one of those 'things' Next moment it was rolling in the middle of the road and I ran over it! OH DEAR I said, what a pity! NOT!

As long as it's an option that is not enabled by default, it's just a feature - unless ofcourse you are annoyed by the mere presence of the button :D

How freaking pointless. Those 'farking trumpet things' make me want to punch babies, and they should be banned outright.
 
My friend lives in south Africa and you would not catch him sharing a voodo horn, or vuvuzelas, i have seen these being passed around on TV and i shudder.
