Has anyone on here attended any of the Olympus walks that are offered through their websites?

I quite fancy one of the night walks, but wanted some further info before signing up.

It does seem quite steep at £69 though
 
what do you get for your £69 ? if its got instruction thats not too bad as a lot of photo days are about £150 or more

@Lindsay D is my go to person for all things olympus (shes one of their mentor/abassador people) so she might be able to advise you

alternately if you just want instruction about night time things you could do worse than talk to matt (@MWHCVT ) he was running a set of workshops called 'the night school' which i'd imagine will be starting up now he's mobile again. He's also really good if you just want advice on night time shooting

Pete, many thanks for coming back to me. It does include some instruction, but I dont think there is a limit on the group so not sure how much you would get.

I just quite fancied getting out with the camera to do some shots in London, its not something I would venture out on my own to do, with this at least there would be a group of like minded people along for the ride as well :-)
 
You could always propose a meet in the TP meets section - theres quite a few TPers in lomdon so if you just want a bunch of people to go shooting with you could do it that way and save 70 quid to spend on camera equipment/beer
 
Having done a street walk or two in London (and possibly the exact one you were looking at), I know a good route to follow and what shots to look for.
 
I have started a thread in the meeting place forum to see if there are any others up for it
