Can someone give me a ballpark figure I would have to pay for a mint/unmarked OM2N please.

I think there was one in pretty good condition in the classifieds here. It was £35 (and an OM2SP was £45)
Both sold in the last day or so.

I agree - ed was being exceptionally generous with his pricing. I certainly appreciated it on the lens I got in that thread.

Yep Ed is selling at way below regular pricing, for a truly mint OM2 expect to pay £80+
 
Now if only someone could have a fire sale of Nikon film cameras & lenses and all would be dandy! :bonk:

Yip. Grays have a few of the older Nikon film bodies in mint condition, and others that aren't too far off it, but the prices are way out of my league!

I know that Grays are a specialised dealer and have a good reputation that follows, but that doesn't mean that their prices are worth the extra on top of the prices from any other dealer. It's still the same product at the end of the day! There are many reasonably priced dealers that I would prefer to use.

Sure, I'm not disputing that at all, but they do seem to have more 'mint' or nearly mint stock of the older gear, if that's what someone is looking for. Not so easy to find now. I'd probably look elsewhere too, because I'm not a collector, but there are people who will pay their prices.
